CALLIOPE

Numerical solver for the equilibrium outgassing of volatiles on semi-molten planets. Accounts for the dissolution of volatile atmospheric gases into an underlying magma ocean alongside gas-phase thermochemistry.

Named after the Greek muse of eloquence and epic poetry. Prounounced: kal-IGH-uh-pee.

Supported gases: Hβ‚‚O, COβ‚‚, Oβ‚‚, Hβ‚‚, CHβ‚„, CO, Nβ‚‚, NH₃, Sβ‚‚, SOβ‚‚, Hβ‚‚S.

Installation

Simply run pip install -e . in this folder and calliope will be added to your Python environment.
